Meet the Holidays with a Mindful Spirit

The holiday season is a busy time of year when we experience a wide range of emotions –  from joy and togetherness, to stress and overwhelm, to reflection and renewal.  We welcome you to meet all the experiences and emotions that unfold this season with a mindful spirit and non judgmental awareness. To help you bring mindfulness, comfort, and self-care to your winter break, consider the following tips: 

Embrace Cozy Comforts: Create a winter haven in your home. Slow down and surround yourself with cozy blankets, warm beverages, and soft lighting.

Make Mindful Moments: Take a few minutes each day for mindfulness exercises or meditation. Click HERE for some of our favorite meditations from meditation teacher Erica Fullen.

Take a Winter Forest Bath: Derived from the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, forest bathing involves immersing yourself in the natural environment and tapping into your senses.  Download the Forest Bath Guide below, put on your coat, and give it a try.
